Made My First Diaper Cake!

Made the crown, monogram and carriage using the Cricut. The topper is made of three sets of baby socks wrapped up to look like pieces of candy. Each layer is wrapped in ribbon and pink tulle.

Tutu Cute

This is a 10 inch "no sew" tutu and matching ponytail holder. The tutu is embellished with a pink gerbera daisy and satin ribbon. The ponytail holder has bling adhered.

The Mia Tag

My friend, Kelly, asked me to match a tag for her Posh and Whimsy bag made by Tricia (check out her work at www.poshandwhimsy.com). I was a little nervous it wouldn't coordinate, but it turned out fantastic!

The Kristin (aka Bella) Tag

I made these for my friends Linda and Tricia. Bella's was delivered before I remembered to take a photo of it. Can't go wrong with paisley/polka dot/pink/brown!

The Carsyn Tag

I made this one for a friend in MOPS. She wanted to match it to her funky and cute Kalencom bag. I used paper from the "Magic Moments" collection from Close To My Heart.

Photo Frame Craft

I was inspired after a craft we did at MOPS last year. I was considering doing something like this for Christmas gifts already, so I went ahead with it. Distressing is my favorite technique. So I distressed all the paper and stamped various fleur-de-lis, etc. After all the paper and ribbon was placed, I Mod Podged everything so it would hold into place. Then added coordinating embellishments.

"You Shine" Card

All the paper came from the CTMH "Good Times" paper collection, which is one of my favorites.

"A Simple Thanks" Cards

The purple floral background mat is from a CTMH "Paper Garden" packet. The embossed "thanks" was used on my mom's Cricut. I simply punched my "thanks" paper piece with a scalloped square punch. The bling is tiny, which has made it more difficult to adhere without making a mess!

The Slayton Tag

This one is made with Close To My Heart "Good Times" paper. I inked the edges using CTMH Chocolate (my fave, lol). And various coordinating ribbons. This is a diaper bag I carried at one point.

The Isabelle II Tag

This is another one of my favorites. I used paper from the Close To My Heart "More To Adore" collection. I distressed the edges with CTMH Chocolate ink. The ribbons match perfectly. I got them in a set from Joann's. I find it so much quicker when I find ribbon sets. I don't have to go searching through tons of spools of ribbons to find matches. I like the challenge of designing new tags, but it's also nice when it's laid out before me! I also added in some thin brown and pink satin ribbon and some pink eyelash fiber. And who doesn't love pink and brown.

The USA Tag

Proud to be an American!

Halloween Craft

Halloween is coming soon. This is a craft I did last year. I made little giftbags for all of my tablemates at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and my daughter's preschool teacher. My mom and her scrapbooking friends made these adorable little Halloween characters using a Cricut. They made them up so cute! Anyway, they gave some to me and I decided to part with them and use them to put on my gift bags. There are more, but here are a few. The tag says "From One Mummy To Another, Happy Fall and Happy Halloween". Oh, and in the bag is a Fall colored kitchen towel with two small cookie cutters attached. At one of our meetings, I briefly told my MOPS tablemates about my own version of Bento style lunches I do for my daughter when she goes to preschool. So the cookie cutters are for them to use for that purpose if they wish. That was my initial thought anyway!

The Chaylyn Tag

I made this for one of my online friends. She wanted something in the form of peacock theme. I love the colors.

The Cory Tag

I made this one for a cousin who had a baby. This tag is also being sported on a Fleurville diaper bag! They are very cute bags. Anyway, I used Close To My Heart paper from the More To Adore collection. There are so many cute patterns, it was hard to choose. I absolutely love pink and brown...you just can't go wrong with it.

The Isabelle Tag

Harlequin is one of my favorites! I sent one of these tags to my friend who has the below Fleurville bag.

The Jess Tag

I made this tag for Jess, my online mom friend who won my blog naming contest. I happened to be looking at Fleurville diaper bags the other day and noticed this tag matches the Pink Stripe Green Trim MotherShip nicely! See for yourself! http://fleurville.com/product/mothership%C2%AE.

If The Shoe Fits

This is a card I made for my cousin's bachelorette party. I thought it was too cute not to share.

Aiden Tag

I made this one as a trade for a taggie blanket. The black and white really pops

Tutu Tag

I threw this together this weekend for a little girl's dance bag. It could use a couple of adjustments, but I thought it came out pretty cute! I have to get better at editing photos. This just doesn't do it justice!

The Fincher Tag

I made two of these for a lady this week. I used cheerful floral scrapbook paper with matching stripes. The ribbons and fibers coordinate. I have two of these available in my store, however, the stripes and florals are reversed. Happy looking and happy Friday!
